Two quesions... PLEASE HELP!
Why did Jim kill himself?
How and why did Jim attack the dog? also, what became of it? did it die?
1. Jim was addicted to his continuous drug intake, and felt the need for one last 'hit' before his milestone television interview; this was the fatal 'hit' that went tragically wrong.
2. Jim 'attacked' Rover to get revenge on Mike after Mike had beaten him at the staged boxing match in the castle grounds. Rover was Mike's dog and was also expecting pups; Rover didn't appear to die but most definitely her puppies did.
I thought it was to get back at Mike for arranging Danielle to turn up when the orgy with the groupies was in full swing. That ruined his only stability and Jim knew Mike set it up. Danielle was encouraging him to be independent of Mike ala a Linda Eastman like character. After she left him he was alone at sea.
