He's absolutely right, we must take action into our own hands.

I can't believe there was an investigation into this. It's so obviously fake, with ridiculously bad and over-the-top acting and cheap special effects. The people that watched this and thought it was real must be really embarrassed.

reply

i heard the directors overhyped this movie by staging fake protests outside the theaters and writing fake angry from people to New York Post and not to mention it was marketed as a snuff film.

It amuses me when the guy cuts off the girl's (clearly plastic) fingers and the plastic springs back when he takes his hand off hers
and he didn't do a very good job, because when he is pulling her intestines out afterwards, her fingers are all intact!

not to mention that it is obvious that her lower body is under the top of the bed!

and her amputated hand moving after it was cut off? it requires forearm muscles and tendons to flex your fingers ... even a little!

it's hard to believe that anybody could be fooled ... maybe the story about people being fooled is an urban legend, too?

I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all.

reply

It's not an urban legend, but most people who were "fooled" had not seen the film.

When copies of this tape were seized in Canada, mid-80s, they actually got a pathologist watch it to determine if the murder was real. I believe he pronounced it a fake.

reply

Let's hope he did for his future in this profession

reply

The pathologist probably said "That's DAMN fake!"

The focus of real greed lies with unrestrained Government.

reply

"Did you find any real murders yet?"

"Man, I ain't found SH!T!!"

reply

Yeah, as gross as the FX are, they don't look real at all.

So odd hearing they needed some one in Canada to determine if the murder was fake in the 80's since even way back in the 70's when it first came out, it was deemed as an obvious fake murder.
