Django Unchained (Spoilers)

I know Quentin Tarantino has seen some of these kinds of Italian action/crime drama movies before. Mad Dog with Rutger Hauer is said to be one of his favorites. I wonder if the last scene was the inspiration for the "handshake" scene in Django Unchained. Or maybe it's just a coincidence.

Either way, I was just as surprised here as I was in that film.
