Available anywhere?

Is this movie available anywhere? As a bit of a Candice Rialson fan I'd like to track down a copy if it is.

Pets is coming to dvd some time later this year courtesy of Code Red dvd. Skip the dvd-r's and just wait for the dvd which should be the most definitve release ever.

Neat! Thanks for the info.

Sadly this title is still in dvd release limbo. Apparantly the company is still having trouble getting the film materials to do a proper transfer. Crap :o(

reply

God damn it! Well, when it comes out it better have the movie poster as the cover...Rialson on her knees wearing the leash!

Code Red announced that they were issuing this sleazy 70's sexploitation gem on DVD about a year ago, but have yet to put this baby out.

300 bios and counting.

Looks like it should be out by the middle of next year:

"The maddening thing is "WILL BE LIMITED TO 1500 COPIES"? Why such a small number?"

I didn't get that either: unless they assume that it will have a very limited market, or plan to release another DVD later after getting people to pay pre-order prices for this one, restricting it in that way makes no sense to me.

Which reminds me, I need to go and order one!

I have the dvd and the print used is pretty beat up. Over a minute missing and dozens of spices that wipe dialog. There is a trailer and 2 damaged scenes presented as an extra.
Better than nothing but a disappointing release all around.

At least you've got the DVD... I pre-ordered mine several weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped :(. Does sound a bit disappointing, but if there's no other copy available there's not much choice.

I just purchased the DVD at a local alternative mom'n'pop music store in Central New Jersey for fifteen dollars.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

and now it's $60.00 used on amazon if you're lucky. Amazing how these out-of-print dvds go up in price. Is it really worth that much? Would love to get a copy but not at that price.

It's available (with great cover art) on blu-ray from Vinegar Syndrome.

Gotta get a copy. Love the premise.
