When the guy from Parallax visits Joe Frady, he keeps remarking that Joe is very tall. Finally, Joe gets annoyed, and asks him why he keeps asking about his height.
His question is never answered. What DID Joe's height have to do with anything?
Taller people are generally seen as more imposing/intimidating would be my guess.

In terms of the script, his height meant nothing. The point was for the Parallax rep to meet Joe, and for Joe to put on his act of being an overly aggressive sociopath, which Joe knew was exactly what the Parallax program was looking for (per the test he showed Anthony Zerbe.) The specific topic for Joe to get aggro about wasn't important.
