Now available on US DVD-R from Warner Archives

The Warner Archives MOD (burned on demand) program has just released OUR TIME as a burned (not pressed) DVD, presumably in anamorphic widescreen. It will be an exclusive of the Warner Archives for about three months, and then it will be available from other American mail order companies. I welcome the news, because this is a good private school drama. When it was originally released in 1974, it was promoted as a warm-and-fuzzy nostalgia piece. However, the film is much more dramatic and tragic than that.

I've only had time to spot-check the new Warner Archives release, but it is anamorphic widescreen (1:85-1), and the new DVD-R has much stronger color values and clarity than the old Warner VHS transfer.
