Fritz the Cat/9 Lives of Fritz the Cat

Now, I'm not too keen on anything with the word 'adult' in the description, but curiousity did get the better of this cat (haha) and I looked up some clips on YouTube. I was very pleased at the animation and design of this film, mainly because I'm a big fan of Robert Taylor's drawing style. I have a question though: Should I buy the DVD of this film or the the first one. I only ask because I saw clips of the first one and didn't like the drawing too much (too much like Crumb's drawing, which, I'm afraid to say, doesn't do it for me.)

SO, do I support Crumb's original style of the character or do I go for Robert Taylor's lovely lucid animation, regardless of content in either film? Or just buy both and stop asking silly questions?

Crumb hated the first film fyi. It's the reason he killed Fritz off in the comics. I have the DVD for this film and the only thing on it is a trailer. I suggest getting the DVD for the first and let us know if there are any cool special features on it.

Get both.I dont really look at the animation but I prefered the first film. This was just mediocre.

Thanks for the advice! I'll probably just get both!

The first one also only has a trailer.

personally i would buy the first one, the animation was impressive and the movie was rude imaginative entertaining and hiliarous dude. If you didn't like the clips than i would just rent the movie then.
