Remake with Branagh still happening, Jolie rumored to star

Interesting choice for Mrs. Hubbard, but maybe she could be younger and have grown daughters. Why not?
Thoughts?

I hope Jolie isn't in a remake, she ruins movies, there would be no fun to it at all. Remember The Tourist? I don't Charlize Theron (also rumored) would be good either. So many choices, these seem like bad ones.

Mary Debenham - Jessica Chastain
Jessica Chastain has actually played Mary Debenham already, in the adaptation of Orient Express that was done for the Poirot series with David Suchet in 2010.

Almost every movie where Jolie stars turns out to be awful or fairly watchable at best. So I hope they'll drop her out. Most overrated actress (or better to say - movie star) in Hollywood.

Fassbender - Mara - Blanchett - Phoenix

They'd probably have to make it a good deal longer. From memory, in the novel Poirot had to interview most of the passengers twice before putting it all together, whereas in this he solved it fairly quickly.

Personally, I'd like to see a stage adaptation more than another movie - that would be incredible and allow for full justice to be done to the mystery.
