Book Recomendation

Many of those posting really liked this movie. I suggest you read "One Minute to Midnight" 8911/ref=pd_sim_dbs_b_5

Some new info in it. Like right in the middle of the crisis a U-2 strayed into Russian territory by several hundred miles and barely made it back to Alaska, ran out of fuel and made a dead stick landing in western Alaska. It was being chased by Russian MiGs and two F-102s armed with nuclear tipped air to air missiles were sent up to escort it back.

Thanks. I also like:

They have excellent accounts of the crisis and should be read with the very good book that you recommended in your post.
