While watching this movie recently I started to wonder about the missing pieces of the puzzle that was the conspiracy to steal the drugs. Basically when McQ is trapped and his car is crushed between the two trucks who is supposed to be driving them? Okay, maybe Clu Gulager is in one cab, but is Diana Muldaur in the other?

shareMy problem with that scene is that it's such an unnecessarily elaborate and contrived way to kill a man (not to mention ultimately ineffective). Why don't the guys in the garbage trucks just shoot McQ like they did the other cops at the beginning of the movie, like maybe when he was coming out of the building, or when he gets into his car? It's like some kind of James Bond villain-style execution method. Stick with the basics: drive-by - BLAM!
