Why on Earth would Agent Hip LEAVE 007 after he went to the trouble to..

Locate him at the Karate school....?

the only reason I can see the writer(s) doing that was to not have to blow up Hip's car killing Hip and his two nieces in the process (thus leaving 007 to fend for himself)

I suppose it's possible that they draft-scripted having Bond go to the kung fu school then escape by river.

Then some moron decided it was be hilarious if two girls were there and beat up the whole school, meaning girls protect Bond instead of Bond protects girls.

I mean, Hip and the girls just turn up ("How did you find me?", "Hi Fat owns this place"), do their stuff then disappear off as if they were never there.

Just an idea. I do think it's a rubbish part of a shaky film.

I don't know, it is a bit strange. but i always enjoyed that bit because having men beaten up by girls was a novelty in those days, though now it has become an overworked cliche.

The girls got in the right rear door. Bond was running around to the other side. Hip heard the car door close, assumed Bond was in the car, and took off.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

So Hip just kept driving even tho the girls were yelling at him to stop?

I guess they wanted to avoid Hip injuries? :D

I think Hip was crazy. He pulled a gun on Bond the whole way across the bay on the boat before Bond jumped onto the ship wreck. And then said I had to get you away. Could have told him long before. Hip was a liability. I think he was more interested in hanging out with the ladies in the Bottoms Up club.
