When Glenda Jackson utters 'Claire'

Just saw this film. There was a scene in the end when Ms. Jackson utters her sister's name Claire and starts crying. This was right after her very long and lengthy balcony soliloquy. Affected me tremendously. Does anyone know why she uttered Claire's name? One can also see Ms. York's reflection in the mirror right before or after Ms. Jackson calls her name. Help.
