OP---What did you think of it?

When I saw it in the movie theater in 1974, I liked it. However I saw it about 12 years ago on one of the Direct TV movie channel and I didn't care for it. I just saw the trailer and want to see it! Go figure.

Back in the day I didn't care for the sequel. Haven't seen it since, but now I would like to some day.

Yesterday I watched the Warner dvd label of this film. It is a good quality reproduction but the dvd itself disappoints in that there are absolutely no extras. It has the movie and scene selection. Nothing else not even a trailer.

Maybe the sales were weak because of the fact that there were no extras. Remember that this was a popular movie in its day - popular enough to warrant a sequel. I've got z grade movies on dvd in my collection which have actor/director commentary and interviews with cast and crew. If they can do it then surely a big studio like Warner can. Max Baer Jr and Jesse Vint are still alive so I don't know why they couldn't have included a commentary from them.
