Volonte's dubbed voice

In the English language version I didn't care too much for the voice they dubbed Volonte with. It kind of took away from the movie. They could've and should've used someone better to dub him. I actually wish Volonte dubbed his own voice like he did for A Few Dollars More. He was great in that. I'm sure he gave a great performance as Lucky Luciano, but I only have his acting ability from other movies and his physical acting as Luciano to go on for the movie. I never heard his real voice. I hope to find the Italian version with English subtitles. But I'm sure Volonte was great. He was a great actor.

Here's the Italian version--it hasn't got English subtitles though, but people do speak a tiny bit English in it:

And, yeah, I like Volonte's real voice better, too. Interesting film---it's not at all your typical rise-and-fall-of-a-gangster drama. It'a also interesting to look at a film about the Mafia made from an Italian viewpoint, which made it a little more interesting for me.
