The Little Prince is R2D2!!

Geoege Lucas must have watched this film, which pre-dates Star Wars. There is a sequence in The Little Prince where the Prince wanders off into the desert, whilst the Pilot is remonstrating with him, aka R2D2 and C3PO on Tatooine. There is then a sequence where they pass through a canyon, which looks exactly like the spot where R2D2 was captured by the Jawa; they then walk past the skeleton of a large creature, and the editing, in which the images change by a sweep from side to side, is exactly the same as the editing in this part of Staw Wars. If I were the producer of The Little Prince, I'd sue Goerge Lucas. I hereby copyrigt this discovery! I am also a lawyer, if The Little Prince produceer does in fact want to sue George Lucas. What does anyone think? Rory O'Ryan

Rory....I would think that as a lawyer you would know that you can't copyright the image of a character travelling through a desert.

Hopefully you're being facetous, otherwise we have to sue the makers of "The Little Prince" for ripping of "Planet Of The Apes," "Ben Hur," and "Lawrence Of Arabia."

Obviously this thread is a little old but anyways Lucas made no secret where he got a lot of his inspiration. Watch Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress and you will see the characters that are supposed to be akin to R2D2 and C3PO.
