reply

Yeah guy or Woman I don't know what you are. The snake person/ dude is the choreographer for Michael Jackson and his thriller video. SO yeah RANDOM THRILLER MOVES. It wasn't out yet but it was the same moves that Jackson used. Minus the whole zombie foot shuffle and head slide move. So take that and your "..."

That "dude" was Bob Fosse, one of the great dancer/choreographers of the 20th century.

He didn't choreograph "Thriller", Michael Jackson and Michael Peters did, at least according to IMDB. They just "borrowed" liberally from Fosse.

As for you objection to my ellipsis, I don't know what to say. Do you feel similar hostility toward other forms of punctuation? The semi-colon, perhaps, or the em-dash?

reply

lmao, Im sorry man, I have no idea why I freaked out that much haha. But yeah, I "believe" that the person was the choreographer, well at least thats what a source told me. But anyways, its all good.

reply

Bunch of idiots.

Bob Fosse never worked with Michael Jackson. Ever. Michael Jackson copied Bob Fosse's dress (wearing white socks and loafers instead of dress shoes and spats and left his jacket open)and dance moves - even the Moonwalk was "inspired" by Fosse's performance in The Little Prince.

As Wikipedia says, "Many credit him [Bob Fosse] with being the sole engineer of Michael Jackson's career for his work on The Little Prince (1974)."

If you watch the music videos from Bad which was his breakout solo album, most of them feature Fosse's moves.

reply

You *beep* idiot, the grown ups are supposed to act strange, the entire time the Prince is seeing all these grown ups as being the strangest things he's ever seen. Read the book!

reply

Well, they are supposed to be strange for the Prince, not for us. xDDD They don't act like that in the book. Or did I miss the chapter with the snake singing and dancing? And I agree, I thought it was kinda weird and sexual too!

reply

This is the difference between 1974 and now. I saw the film when it first opened and no one that I talked to nor any of the reviews I read put forth any suggestions of sexuality in any of the scenes. Maybe I'm getting old but I do believe the world has not gotten better when a sweet film like THE LITTLE PRINCE can accused of pedophilia.
