Steve Warner, "The Little Prince"

I enjoyed this movie very much, and was wondering if anyone knows of Steven Warner and what he might be doing these days.
I don't seem to be able to locate anymore of his films.
If anyone has any information, and would like to share with me, I would be
most grateful.

I too love this movie, "The Little Prince" the little boy, Steven Warner, looks just like my grandson when he was that age, he is a very good little actor, and should have won an award for his work. Whatever became of him?

hey Bonnie,

I have been so enchanted by his acting in the Little Prince. I read this book in middle school and reread it during my freshman in college. Twenty years passed by since I have read it for the first time. Now with the help of Steve's fabulous act, I can grasp more of the meaning of the work itself. I just finished reading it for the third time. As for watching the film, it is countless since I discovered the movie at the library. So, keep tracking Warner's career and keep posting it. We might have to make some fan club for Warner and encourage him for his acting career.:D He definitely was born with that acting talent.

Isn't he so cute when he tangoed with the fox:)? Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, Bonnie. God bless you!

love,

I must say that I first read this book in high school. I found the book to be brilliant! I think that the book is much better at explaining the morals than the movie.

I agree - the book is better. But Steven Warner & the rest of the cast do a great job. Bob Fosse's dance could be edited down. The title sequence and some of the animation within th efilm could be reworked too. So - where is Steven Warner???

Probably living his life in peaceful anonymity. Besides, I'm not sure I'd want to know what he's doing/see him how he looks now. It would ruin the illusion for me, I don't want to think of that little boy growing up, you know?

Oh and I just read it in the original French for class. You've never read it until you read it with Mr. Langa's French III

I agree with you guys. Steven Warner is so talented as The Little Prince. I wish that I could find some information on the Internet about him, but there is just nothing. It would be so neat to hear his memories and recollections of making the film and his impressions of it. He should definitely be proud of his involvement. The Little Prince has many childhood memories wrapped up in it for me. When I was young I was scared of The Fox because of his jumpiness, but now I look back on that with laughter. I do think the animation and some of the songs could have been a bit better coming from a filmmaker's point of view, but this movie holds a special place in my heart and always will.
