great film

I hated Lucien. Even though I knew he was really just naive and kind of dumb, I just couldn't forgive him for being such a jerk, especially after [spoiler alert] he accidently turned France's dad in and never apologized for it, instead saying that her dad brought it on himself. I got so angry. It's difficult for me to see how naivete and ignorance can justify being such a jerk but I guess this movie just takes that theory of justfication to quite an extreme. I liked that about this movie a lot. It really tested my sense of morality and forgiveness.
