I bought the DVD at a yardsale for $1.
A bunch of us decided to watch it. It was problably about 15 of us. Keep in mind, it was mixed races watching this in the room (White/Black/Hispanic/Jewish/Indian {diverse group, huh?}). So we put the movie on, and the whole way through, laughed our heads off. Now, the content of the movie was fairly serious, but the acting, directing, etc. was just funny. It's the little things.
The writing was funny.
Loretta Sykes: "Man, you twisted!"
Garth: "Twisted?! Baby, you the one that's twisted!"

It's just a funny film. I wouldn't recommend watching it alone unless you plan on taking it seriously.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't take white supremicy or any form of hate crimes lightly, but honestly, I think it's ok to laugh at this movie.
True, it's ok to laugh at "The Klansman", it's not like it's up there with "Gone With The Wind" but "Mandingo", oh yeah!
