I finally found it.....

I saw this movie back in the '70's when I was about 10 years old. I may have seen it more than once but never again after that period. Through the years I remembered this great movie about a killer dozer. In the eighties Maximum overdrive came out and it reminded me of it again. But through the years I never knew what movie it was. I was young and still to this day just remember bits. I still havn't seen it since then but I found the movie here finally after all these years after reading about some actors and stumbling here. Now with IMDB as a resource I finally know what movie it was that stayed with me all of these years! What a cool movie that was to a 10 year old kid to stay in his memory so long. Now I just have to find a copy to watch it again!

You're welcome!!! And I've learned on here that sometimes it does take a while to find something but if you're persistent enough you can! I've also learned to only post answers to people that are still active! LOL! Some people only post a few items and then if you look at their profile they haven't been on in years!! :)

I'm seriously considering getting this movie too; and it was interesting how I found this site; another user mentioned it in regards to a totally different movie and I started looking and lo and behold Killdozer was there too!

Are you going to order it?

You know it's so true about responding. I do that same exact thing with a response to an old post.....It pays to stay active here!

Yes! I ordered it yesterday! Great others remember it too.... Thanks again..... :)

Hey glad to have helped! Let me know when you get it would you and how the quality was? If it was okay I'm going to get it too then. I'm not too picky about most transfers, I've gotten quite a few classics from Warner Archive Collection and they were not bad at all!!!

OK I got it and watched it twice...lol I didn't think I'd remember much but as soon as I saw it I actually remembered a lot. It creeped me out as a kid.. Anyway the quality is actually quite good! Much better than expected. The picture was still good broadcast quality for the time, though I'm not sure what it was shot on it's decent. Sound quality is clear, probably cleaned up a bit I would guess but don't bother running it through a good sound system. Sounds better through a minimalist system.

I'm extremely happy to have it and recommend it if your on the fence! Thanks again, I found other titles at the site that I'm planning on getting as well.

Hey thanks for letting me know! I'm going to order it too along with The House On Green Apple Road! LOL! That's the movie I was originally looking for when I also came across Killdozer. I have a few movies that don't sound right on my super sound system so I do play those on a regular DVD player; so that will be okay. Glad you liked it and again thanks for letting me know. What other movies are you getting? (Nosey aren't I?) :)

I've only just noticed this thread and would like to have the movie myself. Being made for TV and never screened for years, I thought the original tape might have been wiped. Thanks for the interesting info so far.

I too saw this several times in the 70's when I was a child and it's always stayed in my mind. It scared me a lot then. I'd love to get a copy of it to re-watch. I'll probably find it corny and dated now but the memory of my first viewings will more than compensate I'm sure. I can't believe it has such a low rating on IMDb - 4.9!! It's better than that.

You'll like these, you'll really dig them and all that pimply hyperbole

Would like to see maybe a Duel Pack Movie. Killdozer/Duel on one DVD. I have memories of watching this when I was younger. Friday was Bingo night for my Mom and Dad and they would show this on ABC Movie night.
