Similar-themed movie - ?

I've been trying to remember another movie with a murderous baby made around the same time as this (early seventies). Details are few and rather vague: I think the mother had long blond hair and, at first, was unsure of her fears regarding her baby being evil and perhaps the father was a little condescending at first... Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about???

Thanks.

Oh, and it's not the one with Barbara Eden.

What was the Barbara Eden movie? I remember a tv movie where there are a group of witches wanting to take a child and the mother was trying to escape.

The Stranger Within. The more I think about it, the more I think it may actually be the movie I'm talking about. One thing I remember was that she became ravenous and began to eat raw meat...

The eating raw meat scene is in ROSEMARY'S BABY too, a LOT of people borrowed it over the years. Another killer baby movie series are the BASKET CASE films, of which I believe there are four;

Frank Hennenlotter definitely would have been hip to the raw meat eating reference and would have used it, though I myself have never seen any of them and only know of the series by reputation of being a ripoff of IT'S ALIVE. Oh, and your Myspace page seems to have been deleted.

What is the name of that Eden movie? I am trying to remember that movie where a mother is being hassled by a group of witches. It is not Rosemary's Baby.

"I Don't Want to be Born" (1974)? Joan Collins was in the lead. It's been a long time since I saw it, but as I recall the murderous little tyke in that one didn't get up and about much - he mostly just clawed people from the safety of his pram / crib. The baby was supposedly possessed by the vengeful spirit of an abused dwarf (yes, really) and there was a gory-for-the-time decapitation by spade for Donald Pleasance as well, if that helps jog your memory!

Wow, Am "I" the only one who gets the movie?

It's a commentary about taking too many drugs into your body and what it does to your DNA... I HATE this film and I still 'got' it's message!

Well aren't YOU special!?! Now go and put your helmet back on and get on that bus.

Yeah, that's not what the theme is anyway in my opinion. It's about how tough it is having a baby. It eats non stop (the raw meat). It drinks all the time (empty bottles of milk). It constantly keeps you awake and fills you with worry. It 'kills' the relationship with your friends (Charles). And when someone compares having a pet to a kid? Check out how the cat ends up in this and then let me know what you think.

Again, I could be wrong, but that's what I took from it...

Other films that share "difficult" pregnancies and murderous babies are:
The Unborn (1991)
The Unborn II (1994) ~ especially this one!

Thank you everyone who suggested what I could have been thinking about (which I figured was Stranger Within afterall as well as those who suggested other similar movies.
