Never on TV (UK).......

I can give you a few of reasons:

1. You never check the telly listings, because I've seen this many times over the years, so many times that sometimes I've turned it off when it's bugun. Recently I seen it only a few months back.

2. You work days, as this is a typical afternoon movie, and it's always been in the afternoon that I've seen it.

3. You've just been unlucky not to catch it!

Both this and Return To Witch Mountain are always on the telly in the afternoons at least once a year.

BBC2 seemed to have got it on their early morning weekend schedules now. I've just seen the film for the first time. Perhaps it was shown as a tribute to Donald Sinden. I missed the announcer's introduction. Proper boy's film. Loved it.
