Foot torture

That was the only part of this film that was too much for me. Nothing in the other Ilsa movies did. Just the foot torture scene in this one. Strange to me that nobody ever talks about that scene being hard to watch but the off-screen castration is mentioned by nearly every critic.

That's the scene that made me skip to the end. I actually had skipped to that one from the scene where the American is introduce to Ilsa.

I'm not big on this type of movie, but I was curious due to Ilsa making it into WatchMojo's Top Ten Evil Laughs. I'll keep secret about where it placed or if it did.

I got from the part of the scene I saw that the foot torture was proof of Ilsa's anti-pain brainwashing technique. The victim barely whimpered while all that was going on.

The other scene that got me was someone's throat being slashed and their tongue blipping in and out of the hole. I give 'em a B for imagination.

As a college student, I saw "Ten Thousand Maniacs" on a double-feature with "Blood Feast." I was strongly disturbed by some scenes in those movies, but they had no redeeming nude scenes as in this movie. There should be balance! I do think their plot and acting were a few degrees better than in this movie.
