Most of it was filmed in Georgia.
But the opening scenes were done in CA, and it couldn't pass for Georgia.
I hate when that is done in movies.

i fell out when i looked up and saw the gold capital building. i don't remember many films with shots of atlanta from back then. sharkys machine had some good shots. and all the stuff at underground was cool to see

Yup, the Underground Atlanta visit is my fav part. Especially because of the animatronic displays.
