Animal Cruelty and Violence

i just started watching this film. i had to stop it because I'm very compassionate when it comes to animal cruelty. Does anyone know if this film adheres to the no animal, harmed law we have here in the states. It's not that I'm emotionally weak, well maybe I am, it's just I cannot watch innocent creatures being killed for entertainment. it's too disturbing for me. thanks folks!!

i meant to say I'm compassionate about animals, not the cruelty inflicted on them...

Pretty sure some frogs got blown up. Most animal rights nuts probably turn it off before the dog fight which is both real and vicious.

I did the exact same thing when I saw the frogs being blown up. What a pretentious arrogant prick this director must be :)

Do animals have to die so I can take part of your great vision? *beep* you Alejandro Jodorowsky.

And I'm not even that passionate about animal cruelty etc, it's just the nature of the expression: "I'm going to show there is meaningless violence and cruelty in life by my own acts of meaningless violence and cruelty" - how is one to respond to that other than saying: "piss off"?

If u you read any of his books he is VERY "humans are the centre of anything". In other words a pretentious *beep* The world neefs these types gone.

I agree. The dead lizards and toads and fighting dogs were not my vibe. It's never ethical or necessary to inflict harm on animals for entertainment. Otherwise, this movie was fine.
