Missing persons?

I carefully watched this movie, and found it very moving. But I have to
wonder how one can do a documentary about Vietnam, and somehow fail
to include a single word or frame with McNamara in it. And just a very brief mention of JFK. Also the atrocities all seem to have been committed by Americans or South Vietmamese. Where the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese
innocent bystanders in all this carnage? I worked as a journalist in
Vietnam from 1968 to 1970, and as I recall there were plenty of bloody hands to go around.
