does this movie have nudity?share
There's a brief moment where a girl is changing her shirt in the background of a dimly lit room, but that's just fleeting. There's another scene in which a young man is seen mooning out the back window of a car.
Ginger, played by Melanie Mayron, briefly bares her breasts in a motel room. Harry sees this, and is slightly embarresed.
Do you have to know this before you will watch a movie?share
You're such a prude. American, I presume? LOLshare
I have kids, and I like to know the "sex and violence" quota before watching a movie, as it determines when (and around who) I will eventually watch it.That's the wrong approach. The first question should be whether the subject matter is appropriate for children. This is an adult movie, nudity or not, and is simply not appropriate for kids. There is intelligent humor, funny situations, etc., but very serious issues are discussed, such as end-of-life, drug use, etc., etc.
The scene serves a purpose (not that there's anything wrong with gratuitous nudity). The girl, Ginger, and Harry are two generations apart in age, and in 1974 that was a good way to illustrate the fact: her casually changing in front of him, and his embarrassment.
Unless you remember that period, it's hard to convey what a palpable sense there was of the culture changing. The change was being driven by young people then; now it's driven by whatever makes money.
