Ken Shapiro's song at the end...

You know. The song that goes
"Just You...Just me...
What are your charms for?
What are My Arms for?
Use your imagination"

What is the name of that song?
And is that in fact Ken Shapiro actually singing it?

It's called "Just You, Just Me" and is a classic jazz song that dates back to at least 1929. It's been covered by lots and lots of people, more info at http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/j/justyoujustme.shtml.

I don't know what version is in the movie, though.

Yes, that is Shapiro's own singing.

I MIGHT be wrong, but I believe he's dancing at or near the Twin Towers in NYC. I've never been there, so I dunno. This is my 3rd fave skit in the movie. Ken Shapiro is a genius.

No, he's not. He's dancing on Park Avenue and 54th Street. I was the girl with the long hair that he dances around. (I was 16 at the time...on my lunch hour from my job. They had me do several takes, gave me a dollar and had me sign a release. Of course, being a minor the release wasn't worth anything! And then the movie was X-rated when it came out. So funny!!)

I recognized all the players because my friends and I used to go to Channel One on 60th Street and see The Groove Tube on closed-circuit TV screens. It was like seeing a taping of Saturday Night Live, but on TVs. So I thought this bit was just being shot for that, until they told me they were making a full-length film.

Cult classic!

Cool! Were you the one walking down the sidewalk? Or the one leaning against the wall towards the end?

Walking down the sidewalk, looking totally annoyed. ;)
