Not banned in NZ!

This was originally banned in NZ on it's initial release in 1974 for some half-witted reason. However today I noticed the DVD in one of my local music stores and it is only rated M (more suitable for age 16+ but any age can view it) with no descriptive note.
Now how about re-examining "Cannibal Holocaust" & "Love Camp 7" and re-rating them R18? Who'd have thunk (sic) the pot smoking, acid dropping, free loving baby boomers/hippies of yesteryear would mutate into the PC, dictatorial, socialist wankers of today?

I know your reply is a year old, but sadly Cannibal Holocaust was only recently rebanned. Worst of all if you go to Australia its only 20 bucks for the special edition dvd.

I know. I actually saw the uncut DVD in Oz. Why is NZ so PC? I presume from your username thyat you're a Lucio Fulci fan? His movie "Contraband" was banned in NZ earlier this year( though its rated R and uncut in Oz!) yet "New York Ripper" in on DVD uncut! Insane!!
