Was the alien leader a distant relative of Dr Zaius or Urko from the Planet of the Ape films? Also did they steal the Statue of Liberty from NY and place it on their home planet from the 3rd hole that Taylor landed on in Planet of the Apes? Someone told me this was a deleted scene

Then whoever told you that was trolling you. The aliens in this film are an homage to the Plenet of the Apes films, but are not connected in any way aside from being ape-like.
