Fanucci's murder is an important part of film history but it's also an allegory for me. The Don looks like someone who was on this page - all the time. He needed to be taken down a peg and it wasn't going to happen with the mod's. So I did it. This person looked like Don Fanucci. And while I'm not Italian I did project as a young Vito Corleone.

Don Fanucci was shot in the chest,cheek,mouth. The fellow that was on this page is no longer around either.

Am I the only one who noticed that Fanucci's name minus the last 2 letters is Fanuc which is the Italian equivalent to fag? He was a bit of a dandy wasn't he? I really love the scenes with him and you are supposed to be happy he gets killed.

There is a lot we can discuss about this character. How he became rich and powerful screwing his own people. How you would love to beat the hell out of him. It would be totally politically incorrect to have a character like that in a film today.

The Little Italy scenes from the 1920s are why many people, me included love 2 over 1. Especially when no such place exists in America any longer. great history and story telling.
