Not really. There are a few poker scenes here and there, but Caan's character has a gambling addiction that covers just about every kind of gambling there is (at one point, he tries to convince a group of kids much younger than him to play a game of basketball in hopes of winning a very small amount). If you're looking for a movie about gambling that focuses more on poker, I would recommend "The Cincinnati Kid."
Thanks for your response-I watched the movie yesterday and I was pleased overall. I didn't see any poker but I did see him play Craps, Blackjack, Baccarat & Roulette as well as "outside" games. I liked how he kept pushing his luck to the absolute threshold. Very good.
