Great Underrated Actor

Phenomenal actor who's done great for several generations. He should have had more roles in his prime. I'm curious what big roles he probably turned down? Loved him in Godfather, The Gambler, Las Vegas..

Yeah. He is really great as a guy who has a major sh!t storm happening in his head but tries to put on a facade of normalcy. You just wait for him to blow a gasket.

I had some doubts about him in this (mostly as a PhD) but he easily made good in every scene and did a terrific job. The cast all did well too.

I would have to say I don't have any confidence in Wahlberg in the remake.

James caan in the 70's was awesome! In what could be one of the first successful buddy cop comedies (FREEBIE AND THE BEAN-1974), he and Alan Arkin are hilarious. Of course, don't watch if you are thin skinned when it comes to queer or ethnic bashing. Even if it is hilarious!
