Why no Region 2 release

Like so many films this is yet another example of a film being available to region 1 customers, but not to UK customers on region 2. Even when a film is released on region 1 there is a lengthy delay until it is released on region 2. Why are we always second class citizens over here??

Just get a multi region chip for your DVD player

I waited for a R2-release too, but now I've bought the R1 -- the image is good, but no extras...

Sadly this is always the case where regions are concerned. They should do away with region coding altogether as in this age with multi region players it no longer serves a purpose.

The film is available on Region 2 in France. Its part of the "Hollywood Comédie" series and has the French title "Spéciale Premiére", so you should be able to get it from amazon.fr fairly inexpensively.
