i saw this flick for the first time on TCM the other night. i thought it odd that it was presented in full screen considering the year of release and all. the turner folks are usually pretty good at showing a film in it's original format. i'm wondering if anyone knows what the original specs are. thanks.

I'm watching 'The Front Page' right this minute on TCM. It's still full screen. ?
shareIt's on In Demand now, fullscreen. Several times I mentally screamed "Pan, dammit, PAN OVER!"
The original aspect ratio was 2.35:1...there is a universal studios release dvd in that format as well.
