I just wonder if Dorothy was every caught and if not, what happened to all those bodies in the barn. Would they still be there long after the couple died?

I suspect that they were not too far from being however. The police were looking for Debbie and will soon be looking for Jackie, Graham, and Debbie's boyfriend when their friends don't hear from them. And I'm sure the cops could easily find out that the girls have some parents who live out in the country and would no doubt send some officers out to talk to the parents/search the place.
You know, I've never really thought of that. I'm sure that when Merle and her boyfriend see that Jackie's hasn't returned, they would phone the police in a matter of days (or hours because she left her friends place with the impression that there was trouble). Jackie and Merle were pretty tight. It could easily have been traced back to Haslemere, where the farm house was...and man does it look creepy. I've been to Haselmere several times but can't find the farmhouse. It looked really old in the film so it may be been torn down or reconverted to a bed and breakfast and redone, as you do with old country houses these days. But, it the film's world, wonder what the authorities would have done with that house (and the couple) after finding those dead bodies in the barn. Also, I'm sure there would be some restless spirits lurking about the farmhouse to.
