Unnerving , unhinged creepy shocking dark , and harrowing takes you right back to 1970s England a nice family woman( with hidden secrets) locked up for years gets out to wreak havoc on lonely houses wife's i was looking forwards to this had it on dvd for 6 months before i watched its a import and worth every penny
great story and superbly acted if you love vintage horror you must own this , this film is not a hysterical bloodbath what makes this story so bad is the hum drum settings the normality of it all ......wow wow wow

I've never seen this movie before but I've heard lots about it and read about it in the Shock Xpress book.So I've ordered the Odeon Entertainment DVD to check out this British horror classic of the 70's.
