I have a copy (official on DVD) when was it issued and has it been out on video or dvd before?

Hi. In the UK the Anchor Bay release was the first officlal DVD release. It came out in the UK on VHS in the early Eighties on a label called something like Home Video Holdings, which released several of Pete Walker's films and in which I believe he was a business partner, and also appeared on a couple of bootleg labels before reemerging in the mid-90s on Redemption Video, but only on tape.

I recently picked up Odeon Entertainment's individual release of Frightmare, which is available from Amazon UK.It has an audio commentary from Pete Walker, an interview with Walker about the making of Frightmare, the original trailer and some other trailers for Pete Walker's films.It also has nice cover art and liner notes on Frightmare from Steve Chibnall.Well worth picking up imo.
