We've had Caroline munro, Jenny Linden, Stephanie Beacham and Linda Hayden. What other favourites are out there? Almost forgot Ingrid Pitt !!!!!! Damn fool.

sharewell, if you want to include giallo films, I'd say you definitely need to add Edwige Fenech to your list.
Maybe a nice honorable mention to Soledad Miranda for her final films in '70-71 with Jess Franco before her tragic untimely death.
I guess Barbara Steele is more of a 60s horror icon. Brigitte Lahaie had a nice presence in some Rollin and Franco films before she went porno, but I probably wouldn't call her a horror queen.
You've already mentioned several other good candidates though I never was that much of an Ingrid Pitt fan myself.

shareI realize that I'm incredibly late to the party so to speak, but I just wanted to thank Death_to_Pan_and_Scan in particular for mentioning the devastatingly lovely and sexy Ms. Fenech in your post! The woman was the ultimate knockout in the 70s and definitely tops my list for scream queens of that era!
Another absolute favorite of mine was Caroline Munro! She's probably my second favorite after Fenech.
