some time ago i watched a vhs copy of this movie and it seems cut..., i got wind that there is a more explicit version.., i think that teh usa dvd has surfaced is cut, so is the gorgon vhs uncut?..., my copy was not widescreen and is awful..,. anybody can help?
shareYours probably was duped from a Gorgon VHS and the collective opinion is that it shows a compromised version missing more explicit scenes that are only found in the European prints. Whether or not that constitutes a cut print or not is a matter of semantics, since cuts are usually imposed on a film by a distributor at the behest of a ratings or certification board. But if the filmmakers simply prepared a less explicit version for English audiences that may be the "complete" print, as it was intended to play for English audiences, and someone could lawyerball that into meaning its the uncut English print. It would still be a censored version, though evidence of an explicit Euro print is not something I at any rate have ever seen for myself.
