When she beats the guy with the wire hangers

I just watched this movie last night, now I saw her beat this guy in the face with wire hangers, and then I saw something (I think) from his face go flying somewhere across the room, and he was saying he couldn't see, what happend, did she beat one of his eyeballs out or what?

I've always wondered this myself. I'm pretty sure it was an eyeball.

may also have been just a piece of skin she tore away from his face with the coathanger, or maybe his lower or upper lip.
