Why no decent Bluray ?

How come there isn't a American or British bluray out yet does anyone know ?

There is an Australian Blu Ray and whilst not great in terms of quality it is better than any of the DVDs released to date.

Also, one needs to keep in mind the film stock that this was filmed in and it is never going to match more recent/expensive Hollywood productions.

Thanks for the reply, I just cannot how a UK or USA of it is not out as both countries as you probably know put quite decent dvds out of it.

It was shot in 35mm, the same gauge as all Hollywood films up until recently.

According to 3D Film Archive, meetings with Paul Morrisey were unproductive. He wants the restoration done for free and won't allow any wonky shots to be realigned.
