Saw it last night in a DVD-quality image. I enjoyed it and found it unusual enough to suggest a second viewing is in order. Buñuel Jnr clearly has inherited his father's surrealistic streak although Juan's variety is more in your face, and whether or not such moments advance or detract from the overall narrative will be up to the individual viewer to decide as will what things are intended to say about art and the like. I rather liked it, once I got used to the flow being interrupted. As a point of interest, I should say that Catherine Deneuve does not appear in a scene of full frontal nudity; it is a body suit.
I am not irrelevant. Arlon10
