It's sad how the Italian movie industry is so reluctant to invest any money in the re-release and distribution of precious little films like this one. When I was living in Italy the only way to own a copy of any Commedia all'Italiana gem (Amici Miei, I Soliti Ignoti, Fantozzi, Il Vedovo, etc.) was to grab that once-a-year chance and tape it from the TV. Hopefully things have changed in the last decade or so and I wonder if Penta Video (or whatever company owns the film rights) has finally released the first two Fantozzi movies on DVD. Anyone got any information?

P.S. Se preferite rispondere in italiano non credo che nessuno si scandalizzera` :)

I'm of Italian extraction, so I go to Italy once a year.
I know for a fact that the first two are available on DVD for about €30 each.

Be`, se cercate questo video negli U.S.A. probabilmente si puo` prendere in prestito all'istituti Italiani di cultura che si trovano in qualsiasi citta` Americana. Io ho lavorato a quello di Los Angeles, e avevamo una videoteca abbastanza fornita.

Si, ho ottenuto il film ma non ha i sottotitoli. E adesso come faccio? Sono una schiappa in Italiano. Vorrei leggere la sceneggiatura cosi potro' traddurla---c'e cualquno che sa dove si puo scaricare la sceneggiatura su internet?
