WOW I loved this

I bought the Criterion's box set of Wim Wenders's Road Trilogy. I watched Alice in the Cities yesterday, which I enjoyed. I went into Wrong Move expecting to be underwhelmed. I thought I was proven wrong by the opening scene in which the protagonist smashes a window while listening to The Troggs. After that I became slightly less interested as the beginning of the film was fairly slow. However, I became more interested thanks to the charm of Nastassja Kinski's silent character, Mignon. About halfway through, when the characters arrived at the house of a wealthy and suicidal man, the film went from good to very good. It took on a mysterious vibe. The scene in the kitchen in the morning where the characters sit around discussing their dreams and ominous music plays was excellent. The scene where they go for a walk and Bernhard remembers his dream but is cut off by Therese is strangely haunting. From this chunk of the film onward, I was totally into the film. I prefer it to Alice in the Cities, but both are very good. There's not much of a discussion about this film on the message board, so I had to write my thoughts here in case they could spark some more discussion.
