Finally Earthquake will be released on Blu Ray on June 4th. Unfortunately there will be no extras. I think it's terrible the way Universal treats it's 70's disaster films. Academy Award winning Airport (with two puny Universal extras) and now Earthquake without any at all. Both The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno are on blu ray for quite a while now with many extras. Shame on Universal. And still no blu ray on the three Airport sequels or The Hindenburg.

It is criminal that Universal is releasing Earthquake without any extras,it is like Universal is ashame of one of their biggest money making movies from the 70's.There would be so much interesting stuff about the making of Earthquake so why are Universal holding back? I often put on all the extras on Towering Inferno and watch them because i find them fascinating.I dont think i will bother buying the blue ray of Earthquake unless Universal do something about including some extras further down the track, they have gone to great lengths with lots of their other movies with the 100 years of Universal so why not this title.Shame Universal shame.

I love this mOvie. I was 14 when i saw it back in 1974. I will buy It
