I've just watched this, and can anyone explain how on earth George got back to the inspectors hotel moments after him? The inspector was in a car, are the living dead driving cars now?

It's pretty simple. George was shot during the night. The next scene, in which the inspector leaves the hospital, happens in daylight. And when George strangles the inspector, you can see light through the hotelroom's window. So George has had time to kill even more people, like the owner of the hotel.

So, uh... when they killed George in the hospital, they just left him there? They didn't somehow "secure" the dead body?

HUH???

Why would they have done that??!! I guess you've never seen the movie. They disbelieved George's story throughout and did not believe corpses we're re-animating, they thought George was on a kill spree!

Thinking that, why they "secure" his body??!!!
