I'm not sure about the veracity of this. The mention of the streaker on Wikipedia has been removed, and looking back into the page history, it was posted without any sources or references and I can find nothing to verify it.
Most likely someone saw it years ago, perhaps as a teenager, had a vague recollection of a streaking scene that their imagination embellished to fill in the gaps, creating a memory that the original scene failed to live up to upon further viewings. Or it was just wishful thinking. :P
The UK Anchor Bay DVD featured the different opening title sequences from the various versions of the film, but nothing on the streaker. Whoever compiled that DVD had access to most of all of the different cuts, so would likely have included the alternate streaking scene as an extra too. The DVD also came with a detailed booklet discussing the history of the film and its various released. That too included no reference to different streakers, but did mention a rumour that early cuts of the film showed the female zombie plucking out the cop's eye in the cemetery scene (a longer version of the shot that exists showing her eating one eyeball and reaching down for the other). This too seems to be an unintentional embellishment, and it's easy to see how the idea would take root in one's mind if there was years and years between viewings: the plucking of eyeballs is strongly implied but not actually shown, and the victim in the shot in question is clearly the real actor with some prosthetic wounds on his face, not an FX dummy, which would be required for the shot to work as described.
