This is a whole new level of bad

Well, I quite like it. Especially the second half. I've watched it twice now and enjoyed it both times.

Yes, so bad it's offensive. If you're going to make a movie about a group of kids killing off a group of adults, then you should make a special effort in making it believable or you'll have a movie like this one.

For example, take your pick as to which was more ridiculous... when the kid climbed up a ladder to a window and threw a spear with enough force to penetrate window, muscle and then the neck bone- instantly killing one victim; or when the girl somehow crept up on the woman taking a bath, and, with one hand, held her head underwater until she drowned.

Only good things were 1) the original ad campaign, and 2) the premise of five normal-looking homicidal kids escaping from a mental instution. Back in 1974, that was a kinda original.

yeah it was boring. the opening credits went on for 10 minutes and the rest dragged too. glad that quentin tarantino's own movies are better than the flicks he recommends!
