sharePersonally I wasn't impressed at all and wouldn't recommend it, but if you do see it don't expect there to be any surprises, poetic justice or even a point to be made in the end because there isn't. It just keeps beating you over the head with the fact that the kids have an evil streak in them and that gets boring pretty quick, VERY quick in fact, it isn't scarey at all and there isn't even enough gore and violence to make it interesting on a "Friday the 13th" kind of level.
Just my opinion of course and others will disagree, but those are my thoughts on it.
It's a great movie. Never gets boring. The kids do an incredible job at acting psycho.

S L O M O scene. Anyone who's seen this movie knows exactly what I'm talking about.
not horrid, but close. way too slow , nothing remotely approaching horror -ooooo, evil children...whatever- and the whores voice...well maybe there was some horror. almost picks up in the final act , near the end of it, almost.
i do agree somewhat with the child actors being decent.
its kind of like the goonies ( or any other schlock kid flick from around then ) meets funny games, without the pirate ship.
i also recommend seeing it, at least once, all the way through.
i do like the "alternate" title i.e actual, people toys.
it is a typical 70's flick nothing outstanding, tna with sex scenes. For a 70's film I liked Lovely's breasts best part of the film.

Yes, it was a really good movie and was just what I needed. I see it becoming a favorite and this definitely won't be the last time I watch it.
